The Portage High School Indians faced a challenging game, ultimately losing 47-41 to the visiting Fighting 59ers in a girls varsity basketball non-conference contest on Tuesday night in Portage, Indiana.

The game was held on November 11, 2025, at Portage High School. The Indians demonstrated strong ball movement and defensive rebounding but encountered difficulties with turnovers during crucial moments. According to reports, Portage’s offense was led by Courtney Clark, while Olivia Gonzalez contributed significantly with rebounds and assists. For the Fighting 59ers, Delaney Myers played a pivotal role, with Lailoni Staten also adding rebounds and assists.

Looking ahead, the Portage High School Indians (1–1) are set to remain at home for their next non-conference matchup against Hanover Central High School (0–2) on Friday, November 14. In their previous encounter on November 14, 2024, Hanover Central defeated Portage 42–25 in Cedar Lake, Indiana.
