The Hanover Central High School boys soccer team enters 2025 with momentum after a breakout 2024 season. The Wildcats posted a 12–3–2 overall record and went 5–1 in Northwest Crossroads Conference play, finishing second behind unbeaten Munster. They outscored conference foes 13–8 and tallied 51 goals while allowing only 22 across all matches.
With a schedule that opens with familiar conference battles and regional challenges, the Wildcats aim to further elevate their performance. Preseason training has honed sharp passing, disciplined pressing, and efficient finishing – tools that powered their success against top programs.
Key returning upperclassmen who anchored last year’s strong backline will guide a vibrant group of newcomers. Coach seeks composure under pressure and seamless transitions from defense to attack as cornerstones of the team’s style.
As the season unfolds, Hanover Central boys soccer looks to build on its foundation of teamwork, tactical discipline, and attacking flair—poised to contend for the conference crown and make a deep postseason push.
