Hanover Central earned a decisive 58–26 victory over Munster in a varsity girls basketball conference matchup.
The game took place Jan. 3, 2026, at Munster High School.
Hanover Central set the tone early and steadily built separation in each quarter, using efficient shooting and defensive pressure to control the contest. The Wildcats outscored Munster 13–8 in the first quarter and extended the margin to 30–18 at halftime before pulling away with a dominant third quarter. Hanover Central limited Munster to just two points in the third period, effectively putting the game out of reach before the final frame.
Sienna Stilley led Hanover Central with a game-high 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting, adding seven free-throw attempts to pace the offense. Kaydence Beach followed with 10 points, while B. Oostman contributed eight points. Simone Parker and Nadia Paun each scored five points, and Kamryn Anderson and Claire Edgerton added two points apiece. As a team, Hanover Central shot 47 percent from the field and finished with 58 total points on 24 made field goals.
Hanover Central will travel to face Highland on Jan. 15 in a 7 p.m. conference matchup.
The previous meeting between Hanover Central and Highland came Jan. 2, when the Wildcats suffered a 53–52 loss at home.
