Hanover Central girls’ volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory over Andrean, combining strong net play with consistent serving to clinch the win.
According to the match statistics, the Wildcats finished with 48 points scored on attacks. Nora Edgerton led the team with 21 points, while B. Oostman added 12. Jenna DeYoung and Natalie Kitakis each contributed six points. Gabi Esparza and Gabby Giacolona also made significant contributions, helping Hanover Central maintain a balanced offense throughout the match.
From the service line, Hanover Central recorded 15 aces with an impressive 95.9 percent team serving rate. Riley Tormey and Liliana Chorba were perfect in their service attempts, combining for 29 serves without an error. Giacolona and J. Ferguson also provided reliable serving that kept Andrean under pressure.
Andrean battled in each set, forcing Hanover Central to work for points and showing resilience against long rallies. The Wildcats ultimately found ways to finish key points, using both their depth and composure to close out the match.
