The win improved Hanover Central’s record to 4‑2 following the match, while Merrillville’s four-game losing streak drops them to 4‑6. Hanover Central displayed balance and depth, with players stepping up in key moments and maintaining focus throughout the match. The team’s combination of precise serving, aggressive net play, and disciplined defense showcased why the Wildcats are poised for a strong season.
