Hanover Central boys wrestling team concluded their participation in the Hobart Super Duals with an unblemished 5–0 record, achieving several commanding dual victories.
The event took place on December 20 at Hobart High School. Hanover Central began the day by defeating Rensselaer Central with a score of 57–16 and then overcame host Hobart 45–31. The Wildcats continued their success with a 43–22 victory against Lake Central, a 43–21 win over Chesterton, and concluded the event by besting Valparaiso 61–17. These results highlighted consistent scoring across the lineup and depth throughout the weight classes.
According to the team’s roster, athletes included Julian Deluna (106), Carter Gary (113), Evan Cryderman (126), Isaiah Buikema (132), Noah Sinnott (138), Carter Hall (144), Joe Paun (150), Israel Sinnott (175), Caleb Chambers (190), and AJ Gill (215). Contributions came from both underclassmen and upperclassmen.
Hanover Central is set to compete next in the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Team State 2A on January 10 at Brownsburg.
