The Hanover Central Wildcats are set to conclude their regular season with a home game against the Hammond Central Wolves on Friday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in Cedar Lake.
Hanover Central aims to recover from a challenging 21-0 defeat by Andrean last week. The Wildcats have demonstrated moments of strong defensive play this season and will attempt to regain their offensive momentum against Hammond Central. Quarterback Wyatt Tewell and receiver Jacob Ferko have been pivotal for Hanover, while running back Isaiah Buikema continues to lead the ground attack.
Hammond Central is still in pursuit of its first victory of the year, averaging just under seven points per game while conceding more than 40. The Wolves have faced a demanding schedule and aim to disrupt Hanover’s home finale with determined performances on both offense and defense.
For Hanover Central, securing a win would end the season positively and provide a morale boost heading into the offseason. The game is scheduled for kickoff at 7 p.m. at Hanover Central High School.
