The Hanover Central Wildcats earned a well-rounded 30–10 victory over the Munster Mustangs in Friday’s conference matchup, but the contest reflected determination from both programs. Hanover Central established its offensive rhythm early and sustained it throughout the night, while Munster continued to battle with steady drives and timely execution that kept the game competitive.
Junior running back Isaiah Buikema was a standout for the Wildcats, turning in a dominant performance with 21 carries for 209 yards. Averaging an impressive 10 yards per attempt, he broke through Munster’s defense for two touchdowns that set the tone for Hanover’s ground attack. Quarterback Wyatt Tewell complemented the rushing game by throwing for 84 yards, including a touchdown strike to Anthony Layman, who finished with 51 receiving yards.
