The Hanover Central Wildcats varsity girls’ volleyball team has commenced the 2025-26 season with a commendable performance. The Wildcats have achieved a 12-2 overall record so far and maintain a 4-0 in the Northwest Crossroads Conference, positioning them at the top of the conference standings.
Outside hitter Nora Edgerton is leading with an average of 3.5 kills per set and ranks second in digs per set at 2.8. She also holds the team lead with a total of 142 kills. Middle/right-side hitter Jenna DeYoung has the highest hitting percentage on the team at .256. Setter Gabi Esparza leads in assists with 277 and serving aces with 63, also posting the highest aces per set at 1.5.
Other notable contributors include Natalie Kitakis, who averages 2.0 kills per set and ranks second in hitting percentage at .207, as well as middle/right-side hitter Gabby Giacolona, who leads in total blocks with 12.
