The Hanover Central Wildcats showed determination in Tuesday’s varsity basketball match-up, ultimately falling 67–34 to Lake Central Indians.
The matchup was played on December 2, 2025, at Hanover Central High School.
Lake Central set the tone early with a dominant 20–7 first quarter and continued their momentum by scoring 39 points in the first half. Wildcats battled to stay in the game, generating 12 points in the second quarter, but the Indians’ consistent scoring—highlighted by an 18-point third period—proved too much to overcome. The Wildcats were held to just five points in the fourth quarter as the Indians closed out the 33-point victory.
The Hanover Central Wildcats are set to return to their home court on Monday, December 8, 2025, when they host the Westville Blackhawks. This early‑season matchup allows Hanover Central to showcase its progress and build momentum in front of a supportive home crowd.
