The Hanover Central Wildcats defeated the Highland Trojans 12-1 in a high school girls softball conference game on April 8, according to MaxPreps.
The game took place at Highland High School.
Hanover Central took control early and never looked back, delivering a commanding performance over five innings. The Wildcats’ offense produced 12 runs on eight hits, including four home runs. Sienna Stilley led with two home runs and six RBIs, while Dallas Bowen added a home run and scored four runs. Jillian DeYoung contributed two hits and two RBIs, and Nora Edgerton had two hits and scored twice. In the pitching circle, DeYoung allowed one hit and one run over five innings while striking out 13 batters.
Up next, Hanover Central is scheduled to host Munster in a conference game on Monday, May 4, at 4:30 p.m., according to MaxPreps.
