Hanover Central is set to enter the 2025–26 wrestling season with the aim of building upon a strong foundation of returning talent and lineup depth across multiple weight classes.
The Wildcats will commence their competition on Saturday, November 22, at 9:00 AM CST at Calumet New Tech High School in Gary, Indiana, for the Rolland Beckham Fall Brawl. This will be followed by a road dual at Highland High School on Tuesday, November 25, at 6:00 PM CST in Highland, Indiana.
According to Hanover Central’s schedule, the early matches provide an immediate challenge and key evaluation opportunities for new varsity contributors. Veteran wrestlers are expected to set the tone in high-leverage matches, supporting the development of athletes transitioning from junior varsity (JV) and youth programs. Tournament action at the Fall Brawl will allow Hanover Central to face a wide range of opponents before competing against a familiar Northwest Crossroads Conference rival in Highland. These opening contests will help identify lineup strengths and guide adjustments before December competition intensifies.
Hanover Central continues its early-season slate with additional duals and multi-team events leading into the winter break. Finalized dates and opponents will be included in the next weekly schedule release.
During the previous season, Hanover Central faced Highland and delivered a competitive performance that contributed to its strong postseason progression.
