Senior Evan Marsiglio helped set the pace for Hanover Central as the Wildcats took on a loaded field at the Hoosier State Relays Finals, facing some of Indiana’s top small-school competition.
The meet took place March 28, 2026, at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis on a 200-meter banked track.
Hanover Central competed in a meet filled with depth across sprint, relay, and distance events, where strong times and tight finishes defined the day. The Wildcats tested themselves against experienced programs, gaining a clear sense of where they stand early in the season. While the team did not reach the scoring positions, the level of competition provided a meaningful benchmark as they continue to develop.
Marsiglio and the Wildcats used the opportunity to measure their progress against a high-caliber field, with multiple events featuring some of the fastest marks in the state. The meet’s competitive nature forced athletes to execute at a high level, offering valuable race experience in a championship-style setting.
As the indoor season comes to a close, Hanover Central will look to carry that experience into the outdoor schedule, where continued growth and stronger finishes will be a focus across all events.
