Hanover Central secured a 46-31 road victory over Lowell in conference play.
The game was played Feb. 13 at Lowell High School, where the Wildcats controlled the tempo and limited scoring opportunities throughout the contest. Hanover Central built steady separation over four quarters while holding the Red Devils to 31 points in the league matchup.
Hanover relied on balanced contributions and defensive pressure to dictate the pace. The Wildcats limited Lowell’s offensive rhythm and capitalized on key possessions to extend the margin. Seniors Langdon Oldenburg, JP Driscoll, Ben Schreiber, Jack Geldmyer and Owen Sosnowski provided veteran leadership on both ends of the floor as Hanover maintained control. The defensive effort helped the Wildcats close out the game comfortably in the second half.
The road win gives Hanover Central momentum heading into its next stretch of competition as postseason play approaches. The Wildcats continued to emphasize disciplined defense and efficient half-court execution to secure the result.
Up next, Hanover Central will host Crown Point on Feb. 26. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
