Hanover Central senior Nadia Paun closed her varsity basketball career as a dependable contributor for the Wildcats, providing versatility and steady effort across multiple roles in the backcourt and on the wing.
Paun competed throughout the 2025-26 season at Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake, Indiana, helping the Wildcats navigate conference play and postseason competition against a challenging Northwest Indiana schedule.
The senior appeared in 23 games during her final varsity campaign, averaging 2.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while contributing defensively with 1.0 steal per contest. Paun averaged more than 19 minutes per game as a senior, reflecting an expanded role within the rotation after gaining valuable experience during her junior season. Across two varsity seasons, she appeared in 47 games and finished with career averages of 2.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game, contributing as both a facilitator and defensive presence.
In addition to basketball, Paun balanced responsibilities as a multi-sport athlete, also competing for Hanover Central’s varsity soccer program, highlighting her commitment to the school’s athletic community.
Her senior season marked the conclusion of a career defined by versatility, team-first play and consistent contributions to the Hanover Central program.
