Senior pitcher Claire Edgerton gave up three runs on six hits and struck out six as the Wildcats beat Illiana Christian, 6-3.
The game was Wednesday April 29, in Cedar Lake.
Freshman shortstop Dallas Bowen (3-4), junior left-fielder Nora Edgerton (2-4) and senior third-baseman Kaden Poppe (2-3) led the Wildcats offensively.
Illiana Christian took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, after Lauren Mish tripled in two runs.
But Hanover Central tied the game in the bottom of the first and scored a run in each of the second, third, fourth and sixth innings.
