Hanover Central boys’ basketball team delivered a dominant performance, defeating Westville 63-30.
The game took place on December 8 at Hanover Central High School. According to the team’s strategy, the Wildcats set the tone early with strong defensive pressure and efficient scoring inside, building a comfortable advantage and maintaining control throughout the night. Hanover Central’s senior leadership played a major role, as Langdon Oldenburg, JP Driscoll, Ben Schreiber, Jack Geldmyer, and Owen Sosnowski helped drive the team’s energy and poise on both ends of the floor. Their presence on the court brought stability and allowed younger teammates to shine in key stretches.
The Wildcats continued to push the pace and close possessions defensively, turning stops into scoring opportunities to keep Westville from finding a rhythm. It was a complete team effort that showcased Hanover Central’s identity early in the season.
Hanover Central will next head to La Porte on December 20. The last time they met, La Porte edged Hanover Central 59–58 on December 21.
