Hanover Central Wildcats fell to Kouts Mustangs & Fillies 56-62 in a home non-conference girls’ basketball game.
According to the match report, Hanover Central put together a strong effort but came up short in a 62-56 home non-conference loss to Kouts on January 6. The Wildcats stayed competitive throughout, trailing by just one point after the first quarter, 17-16, and remained close at halftime, down 26 to 24. Hanover Central continued to battle in the second half, scoring 11 points in the third quarter and adding 21 in the fourth while working to close the gap late. Sienna Stilley led the Wildcats with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Simone Parker added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
The team will host Griffith in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, January 17. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
In their last meeting on November 30, Hanover Central defeated Kouts with a score of 51-32.
